Implementation of NIS Backend for SSSD

The first part this thesis introduces technologies and tools for centralized management and authentication of users in GNU / Linux. It shows the usage of directory services in a network infrastructure, namely the NIS and its comparison with today probably the most widely used directory service LDAP. Then it describes the process of authentication on client workstations, specifically use of PAM and NSS, and possible expansion of whole system through the introduction of cache by using daemon SSSD. The second part of this thesis describes design and implementation of the NIS provider for SSSD.

Webový systém pro správu uživatelů sítě

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje webový systém, který eviduje uživatele internetové sítě a dokáže s nimi dále pracovat. Systém umožňuje kompletní správu uživatelů, vyhledávání, organizaci IP adres, tarifů a zařízení u uživatelů. Nové uživatele lze uložit do směrovače Mikrotik RouterBoard. Důležitou součástí systému jsou také fakturace uživatelům. Správci mohou sledovat historii fakturací, uhrazené i neuhrazené faktury. Přístup do systému je povolen jen autorizovaným správcům.

Modern Web Interface of NERD System

This thesis deals with the issue of designing a modern web interface for an existing system of a database of malicious network entities. The thesis describes the design of a new user interface and also addresses the changes in the existing NERD system, which had to be adapted to the needs of the new web interface. The changes to the existing system were based on expanding the previous functionality in the Python language and the Flask framework. Vue.js (a JavaScript framework) was used to implement the new web interface. This thesis also presents an improved user management with support for external identity providers. The final result of the thesis is a usable modern web interface for the NERD system, which preserves the functionality of the original interface and further extends it.
